calendar: fall 2020

This fall may be looking a little different than it has in the past. If your fall semester has been changed to online classes you may be a little nervous about how things are going to go. If your classes are back in person, you may also be a little nervous. Amidst these challenges, I want to help make this semester the best it can be, even if “the best” is not what it usually looks like.

These calendars can help to keep you on track from day one. Whip these out on syllabus day and fill in all of your important assignment due dates and exam days. Getting organized early on is going to set you on the path to success!

These calendars can also help you to manage a sort of work-life balance. I am still trying to figure this balance out myself but scheduling my time has really helped me out! I use different colours when filling in my calendar to ensure that school, work or my personal life is not taking over all of my time. On my calendar:

  • Black work shifts or meetings

  • Red school related due dates, exams, group project meetings, etc.

  • Blue personal events such as coffee dates, girl’s night, family dinners, etc.

Print these calendars out to place in your binder or pin up on your wall. I find that placing mine near my desk allows me to see what I need to tackle each day as I sit down to work (or to see what fun events I have coming up that I can use to motivate myself to get through the workday).

I hope you find good use out of these calendars! Planners at the store always seem so expensive so I hope these will provide you with a more affordable option for keeping organized. I am excited to see what amazing things we can accomplish this semester!
