yes, I like pina coladas

🎶 Yes, I like piña coladas, and getting caught in the rain (do do do do), I'm not much into health food, I am into champagne (do do do do) 🎶

What says summer better than a pina colada? What hurts your wallet more than paying $13.00 for a single glass of it? I love a good happy hour but sometimes I get a little too excited about patio season and end up confused as to where all my money went by the end of the summer.

Today I have for you a super simple pina colada recipe that you can make at home for a much lower cost! All you need is a blender and a few basic ingredients! There are two ways to make this recipe: canned or carton coconut milk, whatever you have on hand! Canned coconut milk will make your pina colada a little thicker and creamier while coconut milk from a carton will make it a little more runny (similar to the one pictured). Both are absolutely delicious! This recipe is also a little less sweet than a classic pina colada mix which I find makes it all the more refreshing! You can add a splash (or two) of rum for a little fun or keep it non-alcoholic and still have a great time!

So grab your friends, head out to the backyard, social distance (!) and enjoy a night of summer fun with these homemade pina coladas!
